Okay, Sherry, since you mentioned in your comment that you remember when you first met April, I thought I would provide a picture from my archives to document the memory. This is Sherry Bethune and April Noble at the Pleasant Grove 4th of July Picnic, 1980. April, you'll have to provide the story of your injury that day . . . .
Thanks for visiting my blog! I hope you enjoy reading about my life, travels, the people I love, and of course my nephew Nathan. Be sure to check out my other blogs: Eyes Wide Open, Clips, Notes & Quotes, and Mr. Blount's Classroom.
At the end of each post there is a link for comments readers have left on the site. If you click on the links you can read the comments others have left about the post and even leave comments yourself. I have readers who have emailed their comments to me in the past, and I thank you, but I would rather you post your comments to the site. You can leave comments anonymously if you wish.
Thanks in advance! I love to read my readers’ comments!

Now, that's a memory! Howie, I LOVE that you always have a picture for every occasion. It makes my heart happy to know that someone else covets their pictures as much as I do.
Gotta love those bangs! God, Hailey looks like me! I hit my finger on Aunt Marylou's lovely brick planter. They thought it was broken but after spending hours in the ER it was only jammed.- I miss you Sherry!
I remember that day too. Howie maybe you could show us all the pic of Jimmy Gill so lovingly holding back my hair in the watermelon eating contest!
OH PLEZE put the Jimmy Gill Pic!! I am laughing SOOO HARD right now!!
I don't know why my post didn't show yesterdy....but I said this:
WOW! I am laughing so hard I am crying right now! That was some day. I was loving me some April! I miss you too April. (Bangs...what about the perm...why?) Thank you Howie for having a pciture for all of our special moments.
Sherry, the reason you had a perm is because I wanted you to be Stephanie Powers!
LOL! Oh I remember! I could have been on the show "Celebrity Look Alike" I spent hours in front of the mirror trying to get the Stephanie Powers look just right. However, I think I missed the mark in this picture.
Oh my, the memories Howie has captured on film. I hope most of mine do not show up on this blog!
Girls, you have gotten prettier with age.
